Why trust Wahaj?
Wahaj by Entaliq is the platform between you and the companies that install and maintain your system. Here is exactly who does what, and what we do not promise.
Wahaj’s role
- Runs the assessment, the quotation marketplace and the project record.
- Verifies contractors’ documents and tracks their performance on real jobs.
- Runs a Quality Gate before handover, and supports you after installation.
- Wahaj is not the installer, and it does not hold your money.
The contractor’s role
- Surveys your roof, submits the design and a standardized quotation, installs, tests and commissions the system.
- Provides the workmanship warranty stated in the accepted quotation.
- Handles the connection application where the quotation includes it.
Your role
- Provide accurate information and access to the roof.
- Approve the design, any change orders, and each milestone before payment.
- Choose the contractor. We never choose for you.
How quotations are compared
- Every offer is converted into the same scope list: panels, inverters, mounting, cables, protection, monitoring, engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, connection, warranty, maintenance and exclusions.
- Missing or unclear items are flagged neutrally, for example "Monitoring system not specified".
- You pick your priorities; we show which offer matches them and why. The final decision is yours.
How contractors are verified
- Commercial registration, VAT registration, engineer details, qualifications and insurance are checked, and documents have expiry reminders.
- Badges such as "Business Verified" or "Installation Quality Verified" appear only when every rule behind them is met by recorded facts.
- We track response times, delays, defects, complaints and Quality Gate results, not just star ratings.
How complaints work
- Open a ticket from your portal or WhatsApp. It gets a priority and a response target.
- The full project record (accepted quotation, approved changes, photos, payments, messages) is available to both sides, which prevents most disputes.
- If a contractor does not respond within the target, Wahaj operations steps in.
How payment stages work
- You pay in stages tied to milestones: deposit, materials, installation, commissioning and handover.
- Payments are processed by licensed payment providers (mada, Apple Pay, STC Pay, cards, bank transfer). Wahaj by Entaliq has no wallet and does not hold customer funds.
- Financing offers, where available, come from licensed providers. Only the provider can approve credit.
What Wahaj does not guarantee
- Savings and production figures are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on weather, usage, tariffs and regulation, which can change.
- Connection approval, export credit and fees are decided by the utility and the relevant authorities.
- AI suggestions are never engineering approvals. Designs are approved by a named engineer, and structural approval only by an authorized professional.
- Equipment warranties are provided by manufacturers and installers under their own terms.
